Provided contract EAP service to the United States Postal Service for over 12,000 area employees. Assessment of employee and organizational problems. Provided assistance to employees and management consultation for a wide range of problems including performance, attendance, ADA, compliance with DOT substance abuse regulations, FMLA and harassment issues. Conducted evaluations of personnel problems between management and staff, then provided recommendations for organizational interventions. Developed and presented training programs on wide range of topics such as “Preventing Stress“, “Violence in the Work Place Prevention” and “Recognizing Troubled Employees“.
Youth Counselor, City of Blue Springs, Missouri, July 1980 to January 1994
Designed, developed new program to provide individual and family counseling to “at risk” youths using solution focused brief therapy. Interviewed and assessed individuals.
